Rule 39
Protection of Educational Loans and Educational Unemployed Business Loans
: (1) The Fund shall appoint persons recommended by the concerned rural municipality or municipality among the persons defined by the Government of Nepal as underprivileged, marginalized communities and target groups to study the subjects mentioned in clause (a) of Schedule-12. The organization will protect educational loans up to ten lakh rupees.
(2) The fund shall provide professional training in the matters mentioned in clause (b) of Schedule-12 to the persons defined by the government of Nepal as underprivileged, marginalized communities and target groups to receive educational unemployed persons recommended by the rural municipality or municipality, without collateral or group. It will protect loans up to five lakh rupees.
(3) In relation to the loan to be secured according to sub-rules (1) and (2), the member organization shall enter into an agreement with the borrower regarding the payment of the loan amount, the interest charged on the loan and the period to repay the loan, the conditions to be followed by the borrower, etc.
(4) The member organization shall provide the fund with a copy of the agreement made in accordance with sub-rule (3).
(5) The fund shall determine the necessary procedure regarding the security to be provided in accordance with this rule. "3Shak export credit protection: (1) under the fund's export credit, it will protect the loan up to ten lakh rupees provided by the member organization for the business mentioned in clause (d) of Schedule-11. However, if the member organization wants to secure a loan of more than two lakh rupees up to ten lakh rupees, it has to take the prior approval of the fund before disbursing such loan.
(2) The member organization shall pay the remaining principal of the amount secured as per sub-rule (1) to the fund as an annual security fee at the rate of one percent per year of the amount resulting from the addition of interest.
(2) The fund shall provide professional training in the matters mentioned in clause (b) of Schedule-12 to the persons defined by the government of Nepal as underprivileged, marginalized communities and target groups to receive educational unemployed persons recommended by the rural municipality or municipality, without collateral or group. It will protect loans up to five lakh rupees.
(3) In relation to the loan to be secured according to sub-rules (1) and (2), the member organization shall enter into an agreement with the borrower regarding the payment of the loan amount, the interest charged on the loan and the period to repay the loan, the conditions to be followed by the borrower, etc.
(4) The member organization shall provide the fund with a copy of the agreement made in accordance with sub-rule (3).
